As a linguistics graduate, my first love was words.
But exploring the wordless language of photography has been an equally gratifying journey of passion. Today, as an independent photographer and avid traveler, my purpose is to tell compelling stories, that of the remote cultures and places I explore, that of the culturally rich, often ailing, civilizations which surround us. My travel series have been featured in a variety of magazines: Réponses Photo (Namaste series, India - 2010), Lonely Planet magazine (Samburu series, Kenya - 2012), Wice….
I have more recently studied Commercial and Fine-Art photography at Concordia University in Montreal.
In 2016, I released Montreal 375 , my first independent photography book for which I received the Canadian Printing Award for Best Hardcover Book of the year. Montreal 375 was also nominated as Best Of Show Finalist.
In summer 2017, I am releasing the “O” project: 150 photographs of Canada’s most elegant landmarks and natural wonders to celebrate Canada’s 150th anniversary.
